1. What We Collect

We collect the following information when you use Workdocks:

  • Account information: Name, email address, business name
  • Content: Files, messages, and project data you upload or create
  • Usage data: Pages visited, features used, browser type, IP address
  • Billing information: Handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store your card details

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve the Workdocks service
  • Send transactional emails (password resets, notifications you've opted into)
  • Respond to support requests
  • Detect and prevent fraud or abuse

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.

3. How We Store Your Files

Files you upload are stored in a private Cloudflare R2 bucket. Files are not publicly accessible — all downloads require a time-limited signed URL generated at the moment of access. We do not scan or process the contents of your files beyond what is necessary to store and deliver them.

4. Data Sharing

We share data with the following third parties only as necessary to operate the service:

  • Stripe — payment processing
  • Cloudflare R2 — file storage
  • Resend / SMTP — transactional email delivery
  • Render.com — application hosting and database

We do not share data with any other third parties without your explicit consent.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel or your account is terminated, your data is retained for 30 days before deletion. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Export your data in a portable format

7. Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics cookies. We do not use advertising cookies of any kind.

8. Security

We use industry-standard security practices including HTTPS encryption, hashed passwords, CSRF protection, and secure session cookies. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's Privacy

Workdocks is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you by email before material changes take effect. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
