By creating an account or using Workdocks ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including consultants and their clients.
Workdocks provides a client portal platform that allows consultants and freelancers to share files, manage projects, and communicate with their clients. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service at any time with reasonable notice.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access. You must provide accurate information when creating your account. Each account is for a single organization; sharing accounts across unrelated businesses is not permitted.
You agree not to use Workdocks to:
You retain full ownership of all files, messages, and data you upload to Workdocks. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service. We will never sell or share your content with third parties.
Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.
The Free plan is limited to 1 client and 5 projects. We reserve the right to modify these limits or discontinue the Free plan with reasonable notice.
We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms, non-payment, or for any reason with 30 days' notice. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days before deletion, during which time you may request an export.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Workdocks shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email or through the Service at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
